Donkeywell Forge worked closely with the designers and architects on the project to produce a forged branch like handrail that not only fit aesthetically with the wellness centre but also meet health and safety regulations as it is a heavily used public space. We produced multiple samples for the designers and clients consideration, these included a number of steel sections and finishes that were hand patinated and finished. Once the design was confirmed the handrails were hand forged and shaped to fit their individual locations and fitted by the Donkeywell team.
