Donkeywell forge worked very closely with the private client, providing samples and carrying out a number of site visits to discuss and develop a simple yet forged design for handrails and balustrades for the client’s new property. With a few variations of our samples, we settled on a design which stood out as a feature piece, contrasting the stark white walls and complimenting the surrounding brickwork and timber. We individually forged and fitted every bar and bracket, and finished all ironwork in a sealed, burnished, and blackened steel.
