Donkeywell Forge provided a set of handrails, one pair for the front entrance of the client’s property and one for the rear. The handrails were needed to provide safety for the clients when using the steps but also needed to be decorative and in keeping with the property. We opted to forge scroll ends for each of the entrance handrails and a simple shepherds crook for the rear and used twisted bars for all the uprights to give the pieces a more unique and decorative look. Each post was fixed into the step and then a lead caulking was applied at the base.
