Blacksmith's Forge
Named after the donkey-driven water well that was located at the rear of the forge, Donkeywell Forge began life in 2012 as a traditional blacksmith’s forge on the outskirts of Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
Today, our highly skilled team of master ironworkers offer our global client base – from the UK to the UAE and beyond – an extensive, collaborative service from design all the way through to installation.
Work Produced At Our Forge
We produce traditional and contemporary ironwork, working with all forms of metal including true wrought iron, mild steel, bronze, copper, stainless steel and corten. We have traditional coke-fired forges which allows us to specialise in the use and principles of heritage materials and styles, including fire welding. We also have large gas-powered forges, power hammer facilities and 3,880 ft² of workshop space, multiple workbenches and modern workshop facilities and machinery which allows us to complete much larger projects with quicker lead times.
