Donkeywell forge worked closely with the private client, providing site visits, samples and designs for the handrails. Once the design was confirmed traditional forge work was used to produce the handrail scrolls and repoussé techniques used to produce the forged leaves that adorned the upright posts. We fitted the handrails and lead caulked all the upright post bases to give a more traditional appearance, we then hand painted each piece.
