Commissioned by the client, Donkeywell Forge created a handrail on a set of tallet stairs at the clients property to provide safety up the stairs and also look as if it had always been there. We created a design which was simple but embellished with a scroll off the end of the handrail. The posts were finished with lead caulking to give a traditional look, and an aged lead finish was applied to be sympathetic with the surrounding Cotswold stone.
