Commissioned by the private client to create 5 railing panels and a set of gates to fit between wooden arches in their garden. Donkeywell Forge used a combination of traditional and modern methods to create the ironwork using Gothic influences as the client desired. We designed each ornate ironwork element in CAD and discussed the details with the client. A design was confirmed and production began. We forged each  bar to create the arches and lattice design, fit decorative quatrefoils and railheads throughout and applied an aged lead finish to all metalwork. The railings and gates also provided security and were fitted with locking mechanism and drop bolt.
