A returning client commissioned Donkeywell forge to create a set of railings and a pedestrian gate for their garden that would incorporate many elements of artistic forged floral ironwork. We based our design off a previous floral panel we had made for the client. The production of the ironwork required the blacksmiths to create the shapes and flowers very organically that would flow throughout the piece. We made many ironwork features including flowers, stems, leaves, butterflies and a garden fork. We finished the ironwork in a patination to achieve the look of aged lead that would complement the surrounding environment.
