Donkeywell Forge was commissioned by a private client to design, make and install a decorative stair balustrade for their property. The blustrade incorporated traditonally worked upright bars and forged scrolls. The balustrade was fitted and lead caulked at the base of each post to give a more traditional appearance and increase the longevity of the posts. We hand patinated the steel to give a aged ferric finish which was then sealed.
