Forged Estate Style Entrance Gates

Donkeywell Forge was commissioned to design and make a set of estate style entrance gates and pool gates for a renovated garden and driveway at the client’s property. The project required a set of double gates, an accompanying pedestrian gate and a set of pool gates elsewhere on the property. We developed a design which included a curved central bar that was traditionally riveted to the horizontals. It also included decorative scroll work atop the gates which was all hand forged by our blacksmsiths. We worked closely with garden designer providing drawings and a proposal of the proposed gate design (please see our design service page for more information).
