Forged Balustrade Spindles and Handrail

Working with an award winning architectural practice, Donkeywell forge was commissioned to create a set of foged blaustrades and handrail brackets for a new extension set into an early 20th centruy arts and crafts manor house. We hand forged all spindles to give the ironwork a hand worked appearance finished them in burnished steel, this was combined with elm wood handrails. The finished balustrades and handrail was a stunning combination of the two materials that sat beautifully in its surrounding architecture.
