Donkeywell Forge was commissioned by the building contractors and designers carrying out a renovation on a London Home to make and install a traditional terrace railing with ornate handrail. We designed and made a sample of the proposed design that we took to the property for the designers and clients to see so that we could show them the fitting and construction methods as well as discuss any final details. All spindles were individually core drilled into the new stone copings, hand painted and bases leaded in flush with the coping, as would have been done when the houses of that era were built.
